The family are back from Devon and I've never known the house be so tense. My mum didn't get much sleep because of my dad snoring apparently so everything he does is doing her head in and she got really stressed at the thought of me losing everything on my own in Spain so we're all treading on eggshells a bit around the house. On top of that my sister has been a bit arsey with her school report and was saying last week If I wasn't going to Prague (passport robbed etc.) then she wasn't which got to my mum and dad a bit. None of them are mad at me, just eachother so on the one hand I don't really want to go away with them but then I google Prague (Czech Republic) and see a photo like the one below..

Looking at it here it just looks so chilled out, I can't wait to go. I've heard its not very commercial or westernized but to be honest that doesn't bother me at all. I love the thought of being able to just go somewhere and disconnect from capitalism and the rest of the world's shopping and coffee bars. Being in Barcelona last week has given me a bit of a thirst to get some culture and appreciate some buildings etc. so my parents are definitely the right people to be going on this holiday with. Also I'm keen to go because I'm going to be pretty skint once this Creamfields ticket is bought and a family holiday = me paying for nothing which is always a good thing in my eyes :P
We leave tomorrow and come back Saturday which isn't too long at all so hopefully it should just be a nice little getaway. Its come at a bit of an inconvenient time because I'm just starting to get somewhere with a girl we know locally and who was in Zante (I haven't written about it because its still all a bit premature)and its looking good for in a couple of weeks when her mate has a free house and is having us over. Hopefully going away now won't ruin it if I up the ante when I get home.

Anyway, as usual I won't be rushing to a computer whilst I'm away so I shall report back in a few days. I have been so lucky with travel and holidays this summer! I'm loving it!!
