Last night was a close friend's birthday. To save money I didn't meet everyone in Altrincham but went to a mates and chilled with some beers at his. From there headed into Sale and met everyone else. There was a good amount out, we headed to Rev's at the locks but when Rick told the bouncer it was his birthday he wasn't let in for being too drunk which was a joke as he was absolutely fine. We tried queuing up again and the bouncer saw us and started talking to us and put forward a reasonable case but it just wasn't happening. When I said "I don't know why you're being like this.. look at him! He's fine!" he was stumped as to what to say back so then a woman bouncer came over and told me I wasn't getting in because of what I was wearing. Shoes & a damn nice polo shirt clearly aren't good enough for there?! A bit of a joke considering the amount of people in T-shirts walking through but whatever, I'm not the biggest fan of the Locks anyway.
We all considered going Sankeys from there but we couldn't all agree because it was £12 in so headed to The Ritz as a last resort and it was pants. That place has become so poor. In the end me and a couple of mates left early it was so bad. We had a taxi driver who was mental and thought he was Lewis Hamilton so we got home for about 2.30 and just chilled.
My free house ends today as the rest of my family get back from Devon. I'll be glad to see them all to be honest!
