What a holiday!! I have had such a good time over the last two weeks, Laganas is wicked but it was definitely the people who made it, I still prefer Kardamena in Kos as a destination. The beach is better, I prefer the clubs, bar street is more crammed, less of a walk to get anywhere, zero chavs and less loudmouth Londoners. Having said that though Zante is cheaper and has more people so I guess they are kind of similar.
I just got in from the airport a couple of hours ago and am still absolutely buzzing. Considering I was there for two weeks, despite a few scrapes and mosquito bites I'm not in too bad shape which is surprising given how messy it was. It was a long time and I was definitely ready to come home a couple of nights ago but I am still happy because I would have been so gutted if I'd left after only a week!
I'm looking through the photos now and have started putting them on facebook but there are so many (800+) that its going to take weeks! They are wicked though, some real good ones that are just making me smile looking through them. 2 weeks of laughing and joking soundtracked by the late MJ who was on literally everywhere and some other massive Zante anthems (Black Eyed Peas - I Got A Feelin & Pitbull - I know You Want Me) have made it absolutely mint. On top of that we got to see world-famous Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce at Rescue which was absolutely amazing, and I got a signed flyer! He was incredible and absolutely wiped the floor with Spoony who was pants in Kos last year.

  • People contracting Swine Flu (It was everywhere on the island, 2 of our 1 week group are confirmed cases now and I'm pretty sure I've got it but am not checking until after Benicassim)
  • Roadkill Rats (having to walk past them twice every night is guarenteed to make you ill)
  • Mosquito bites
  • Arm wounds (sharp side of pool)
  • Scab on face (3 lads sharing a mirror Shaving in a hurry while smashed is not a good idea)

I could go on and on, basically it was unbelievable and I loved every minute. I'm on a high and I've got a nice little tan which will be boosted over the next week and a half in Benicassim. I'm loving this summer and will put up some photos from Zante when I get them all up to do them justice.
