Last night I went in to Manchester to see Kings Of Leon and they absolutely KILLED IT. We arrived too late to see Glasvegas supporting but just in time for the start of their set and every song was brilliant. They started with Crawl and every song was just impeccable, progressively getting better and better even when we thought it wasn't possible. Closer, Fans, Be Somebody, Use Somebody, Bucket, Red Morning Light and Molly's Chambers were all excellent. Sex On Fire was the only song where absolutely everyone was singing along, I thought I was a big fan but I didn't know half of the earlier stuff they played.. They were the most polite band I've seen and all in all fantastic but I know that in Spain next month they will be even better because of the atmosphere there will be, I don't really like the MEN Arena as its a bit too big for my liking but Benicassim should be just right. I'm excited! ![]()
My favourites were On Call, Use Somebody and the very last song, Black Thumbnail. I was a bit gutted they didn't play Revelry or my personal favourite, McFearless but we definitely still got out money's worth! We were too far away to get any decent pictures, but I got a good few videos (see below). Ignore the shakey quality and just appreciate the noise ![]()
The girls there last night were unbelievable.. I was really surprised considering Take That and The Saturdays were both in Manchester last night aswell!
I've been to The Trafforc Center today holiday shopping and there were so many people wearing the T-shirts and loads of the shops were playing their albums!
