Politics went well. We were straight out after the exam to the pub across from school. I went back to a mates and then we were back out again. Loads of people were out and we ended up in 42s in Manchester. It was an alright night by most standards, a bit of a blowout because everyone was finishing.. I spent far too much and was definitely feeling the effects today.. I am not a fan of hangovers at all.
The worst part of the night was me losing my phone. I don't know what happened, I think I must have somehow left it on the table in Varsity when we were leaving. Chances are someone will have picked it up but I'm about to call them now to see if maybe a kind samaritan has handed it in. (No such luck)I'm not too hopeful though, it was so inconveniant being phoneless today. I've had it a long while though so have got good use out of that phone, and a mate has a few spare phones at his house so he might be able to sort me out which is good. Hopefully won't come to that though. ![]()
We got home for £3 each which was wicked. We got into a minibus and it was only half full so the driver decided to turn back and pick up some more people promising he'd make it cheaper for us. Some girls we knew jumped in and we took them home.. it strayed from our route quite a bit but still worked out cheaper so we were happy. They paid theirs and then the guy wanted us to pay the same, but that would have totaled £52 which was far too overpriced. We basically refused and said that was a daft amount because he'd said £30, then £40 and now £52?! We probably could have got a limo/helicopter/hot air balloon for cheaper!! (Obviously not but hey). We were going to get out and then he said he'd call the police, we weren't being arsey at all and the driver was deluded so we said yeah go on, explain to them how much you're charging us and collectively all agreed maybe you should get the police down. He then backtracked and we ended up paying £3 each which was a really good price, he gave us his number and said if we ever need a lift back from town let him know! Was a bit of a strange turn of events but all ended pretty well.
We were up at 7 this morning for paintballing after getting in at 4 (I don't know how we managed it!). The place was in Frodsham which was quite near me. Facilities were basic and the bullets were really expensive but it was still a top laugh. I'd never done it before and the rules took a bit of getting used to but I really enjoyed myself. We were in a group with a stag doo.. they were all gimps. They took it really seriously, the place itself was a huge cockfest with a strong smell of mud and testosterone in the air but I'd definitely do it again.
I am so relieved and have just been constantly laughing and joking for the last 2 days. Its been class.
