I always enjoyed the Final Destination films. Basically a group of people/teens in each film avoid death through someone having a premonition of their accidental deaths and changing the future saving everyone. However in each film thats not enough and after they avoid death each of them begins to die in mysterious "accidental" circumstances in the same order they would have died in the accidents, as "There's no escape from death"
The most recent film involved a rollercoaster accident, Final Destination 2 was a huge pileup on a motorway and the original version was a plane crash. This is where it gets creepy.
There was a woman, who had a ticket for the tragic Air France flight 447 which fell out of the sky over the Atlantic just less than 2 weeks ago. This woman, Johanna Ganthaler was an Italian senior citizen who was on holiday with her husband in Brazil but they both missed flight 447 when they turned up late to the airport. All 228 occupants of Flight 447 died, and the Ganthalers managed to get a flight home the next day.
Anyway, its emerged today that Mrs Ganthaler has been killed in a car crash in Austria. Its like Final Destination for real, I know for a fact I won't be able to watch that film in the same way again now. Its such a strange coincidence.. her husband was seriously injured so best wishes with him obviously but its so creepy what has happened.
Is it fate or tragedy? Does "God"** have other plans for this woman? Is there any escape from death?
Personally I think its just a really tragic, really disturbing coincidence which unfortunately is like a popular film from my generation but I'd be seriously interested to hear what other people think of this.
**(In inverted commas because I don't personally believe in anything like that)

I had'nt heard that , Dan , I'll look into it tomorrow when I'm less tired , thanks for bringing it to our attention .
I too like the F/D films .
I read somewhere that two terrorist suspects may have been aboard that flight , ?
