Images of these kits have been circulating round the internet for a while but this is the first good quality shot of them I've seen.A big improvement from the last photo, which had been taken off someone's phone and was very dark. While the designs have been circulating which someone has made on photoshop its nice to finally see them in all their glory! And it has all the training/goalkeeper tops with the three kits.
The blue in the middle is the homekit, the black next to it is the away strip, and the white one with the red and black stripe is the third kit. The yellow and green tops are goalkeepers kits, and I guess the other two will be training tops. They are all so nice, I cannot wait for next season to see my idols in these beautiful kits. Some close up photos of the badges and stitching have been released aswell and they look so well made, these are the best kits in my opinion since the fluorescent yellow '99 playoff final kit, 95 relegation's kit, or my personal favourite, from before my time, the 1983 Saab kit. That was beautiful.
Anyway we've worn some shite over the last few years so its nice that we're getting a good set of kits again and its probably fitting its the first kit from our new 10 year Umbro sponsorship. I think I'm going to try and get the white strip, I love how the sponsor has been moved to underneath the badge, looks really oldschool/classy.
Obviously I hate the summer breaks for their lack of football but I love getting the new signings, releasing the fixtures, new kits etc. etc. I love the optimism and anticipation. Next year really could be the year we win a cup and break into the top 4-6 which will mean good football all season. Even if it was the League Cup we won I'd go absolutely mental. I can't wait for Robinho next year either. He's going to so good and more settled in his second season, could do a Drogba and tear everyone apart. Love that guy.
