Today was philosophy. I didn't stop writing and got a lot of stuff down on the paper but the questions were impossible.. much harder than last years A2 paper which must have been viewed "too easy". To be honest I'm annoyed. It was so hard, I worked solidly for it but I still feel like I did pants. Its almost as if I revised too much for it and too broadly so while I was writing I had other philosophy thoughts going round my head.. the last question was a joke aswell, on a topic (Virtue Ethics) we hadn't even covered?! I am absolutely exhausted. Exams like this do make me wonder why am I putting myself through this?!
I guess the thing with philosophy is there is no hiding behind any sources like in history, you can't bluff your way through like in politics.. It just doesn't come naturally to me so at the end of it when this happens despite all my work I'm just left really demoralised. Especially when I've got a weekend of History for a 3 hour exam on Monday. I'm in a dark place right now.
Also I'm annoyed a couple of mates didn't help by being dead panicky. Exams aren't my life, so I never really get stressed before them but they were rubbing off on me so I was getting wound up aswell.
And then on top of that a few of our mates were really sly with revision and stuff I can't really go into on here so that has really got to me, especially when they're kicking off saying they did nothing wrong.. Really really fucked off about that.

I'm exhausted but I'm off out tonight with my family for my younger sister's confirmation.. she's taking the name of "Sexburga" so it should be interesting. The rest of my family are raving about Oasis.. despite the "really rough crowd" (I knew it would be but they didn't!) and the technical failures they said it was superb, and the Gallaghers have both said people can get refunds..(70,000 went.. will be very expensive!) I am so happy I sold my tickets, especially if we get the money back.. but I really wish I'd gone, the stories they're telling are amazing about illegal car parks, lockins, run ins with the police, fights, walking on the motorways (none of that was my family btw, just what they saw). Would have been insane. I love Manchester! :D

I went to the Arctic Monkeys at Old Trafford but this would have been much bigger and just incredible.
