Toddla T is bringing Dancehall back to Sheffield. His debut effort,Skanky Skanky came out on Monday and Play.com has just delivered mine this morning. It is siiicckkk. Its heavy with guest spots from the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Herve, Arctic Monkey's very own Matt Helders and Roots Manuva with many other names I've never heard of. Its incredible. I need to get to a night in Manchester that plays this sort of stuff. The first single, "Shake It" has been doing well but the rest of the album is just as good. I love his dress sense aswell.. I need to get some of that! The guys quality and his take on modern dance/dancehall/bassline is veeerrryyyyyy good, this album will influence a lot in the next few years, and should hopefully bring more of this into the mainstream.
