Last night me and Clarke went to Moho Live for the first time to see The Sunshine Underground. It was my 5th time seeing them (off one album!) so I knew what to expect and this tour is previewing songs from their new album so I was really looking forward it. There was a delay on the Tram and then they're replacing the tracks in town so we got to Moho a bit late and the band were already on, the place was rammed, but we'd only missed one song.
As mentioned, never been Moho before so i didn't know what to expect. Its good, but a bit grimey and was soo hot. Low ceilings and a massive staircase in the middle of the venue meant we couldn't really see the band so we were just stood at the back getting down to the sound of the underground! Haha. It really reminded me of The Bait Shop venue on The OC.. really similar.
The band were great, the new stuff sounded amazing. There was a problem with the bass at the start of "The Way It Is" so they had to start that again, but apart from that it all went very smoothly. They played a slowed down version of Borders which was pretty good, it was probably my favourite song because the set was so heavy with new material which I didn't know. They were on for nearly an hour and half and it was great. Can't wait to see them on a proper tour again!
Then, what made my night was they came out afterwards and me and Clarke managed to get photos with Craig (singer) and Stuart (guitar). I wanted to speak to Daley, the bassist, because he has a blog and he used to have mine linked to his on his page and we interacted a bit but he was with his girlfriend and looked a bit preoccupied haha so we left him to it.
The photos with them made the night though.. heroes! ![]()

When I got back to Clarkes at about 7 I was absolutely knackered. We watched football today (Gutted for West Brom) and now I've come home to fill out my student finance application! Busy Busy!
