Now I really need to get my head down. I've been saying I'll start revising this week for the last 3 basically. I've done bits of work here and there but not been able to keep it going at all. Teachers have started getting on my back a little bit about it but now we have finally broken up for easter today I reckon I should be able to really get going. We've broken up a week after everyone else but this week has been pretty relaxed so I don't mind.

On Monday was our speech night. For those that don't know its basically an annual ceremony held at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester where awards are given out to pupils, people get certificates for their GCSE's and A-levels, there is music performances, speeches by the head, head of governors and a guest speaker. This year I decided to give it a miss for the first time. I wasn't getting an award/certificate and because we are year 13 we weren't given seats but just told to fill up the empties. My form tutor wasn't supervising us and the head of 6th form wasn't going either so it just didn't make sense to go. I told my dad but he was really keen to go anyway because he went to the school, so while he went I went into Manchester.

Me and a few mates were all sat in Spoons in the Printworks because we were going to go to Tiger Tiger (round the corner)when they announced it was quiz night. We entered a team, and me and another mate stuck around for an extra 5 minutes to find out how we did.. and we unexpectedly came 2nd by 1 mark! We only just missed out on £50 prize money! Thats the closest I've ever come to winning a quiz :)
Tiger Tiger was a good night.. not the best but still pretty good because all the year above were back from Uni and all came out with us after they'd been to speech night. I spent too much though so that will probably be my last time out in town (apart from 18ths) until after exams now. Its pretty much summer now, so instead of going town people will just go round to houses, chill in gardens and have BBQ's and stuff which I prefer really to be honest. (I don't really like this picture..)

Tuesday was the traditional day off after speech night which me and Elliot spent at Tom's house just chilling and watching TV. I went home when they went to McDonald's drive through, and slept from 7.30pm - 7.30am when I got up for college. I love sleeping when you really need it.. it feels so good!
Wednesday was a quiet day in college. At lunch everyone headed out for charity shops to see if they could buy dresses for a cross-dress charity rugby game which was that afternoon. I went but only had a £5 for lunch money so was priced out of most the frocks. I was struggling with size aswell because there aren't many women that are built like me, and there were even less dresses in the shop we were in. People were getting some pretty funny clothes though. In the end I decided to go home to see if there was anything old lying around the house I could use, and I needed to get my boots anyway. There wasn't, and by the time I got home there wasn't really much point driving back as I wouldn't be able to get a dress in time so I didn't go back and just relaxed.
Today the rest of the school break up but I haven't gone in (the vast majority of people in my year haven't) because its only a half day of no lessons and a mass for Good Friday (even though its only Thursday).

This week I'm going to try and save some money for summer and not go out as much, get to the gym most days aswell and hopefully that'll help me along.

Hamburg V. Man City tonight. Gutted we couldn't get any tickets. We needed like 20 times the amount of loyalty points we had. I can't get to any final in Istanbul if we get there either because I think I have an exam the next day which is a shame but I guess tonight I'll just watch on TV. I'm really looking forward to it!!
