I've just finished watching last weeks Skins for the first time on E4+1 and.. what the fuck??!! (SPOILER WARNING)
I used to love Skins but now tonights episode was some weird Bristol woodland version of The Hills Have Eyes. I was watching it in a dark room so the poachers at the petrol station was a bit weird yeah but I could deal with it..
The scene where the poachers are then chasing down the kids is horrible, reminds me of Jeepers Creepers. I watched that when I was far too young and that scene and the Creeper haunted me for weeks afterwards. If I could change one single thing about my childhood it would be to not watch that film.
Anyway, then they're in the woods and get a bit creeped out by some noises so each and everyone of them poos their pants but then it turns out to be Cook. How did he get there? No-one knows. He is such a wanker its unbelievable btw.. doing my head in. The show would be nothing without him but at the same time I want to kill him off sooo much!
They're all tripping out on shrooms they've found in the woods... (OK.. yeah...) and then when Effy is tripping out she meets Katie in the middle of the woods. That scene is so fucked up, it was sending me west and scaring me so much just watching it. Then they start fighting, kindof.. Effy's whitey is too big to really put up a fight but then she whacks her round the head with a rock?! And its meant to be her party in the woods! Attempted murder!?! And then the next day they all just drive off and leave her??!! ..right.
This show is far too extreme for me, I think after next weeks finale that'll be it for me and Skins. I prefer the original cast soo much it makes me angry. I know its just TV but come on.. is this what British TV has come to?? I thought we were better than that! And whats with smashing people over the head on TV at the minute? The same happened in Shameless last night.
