Last night was a joint celebration of the recent 18ths of two of my good friends. It was absolutely brilliant. After rugby that morning (with fresh swollen nose + black eye later on) i drove out to a mates Olly's, where i met him and another friend and we headed to the Bowling Green in Chorlton. I've only been to Chorlton twice, and this was the first time we had been there drinking but its brilliant.. really nice, cheap and good atmosphere and choice of places to go. Anyway, here we met up with everyone else, and in a couple of hours there were 15 of us all sat around suited up in the beer garden thinking we were all James Bond!
We've had 18ths but to make this one more memorable we decided to dress smart for the occasion, which was good as i never really get to wear a suit otherwise. Anyway, after a few hours in Chorlton we walked back up to the tram and met the rest of the group in Sale. From there the 20 of us took a minibus to Bell Vue Greyhound Track in Gorton to have a few bets at the dogs. This was also to make the night more memorable because no-one had ever done it before, and it was good fun. No-one made any winnings though, because we were only putting a couple of quid a dog at a time so you'd only win small amounts.. but it was all harmless fun. I didn't realise how popular it was! From here we jumped in taxis to Manchester and went around the Locks at G-mex which was really good. We never really go round there either so that was fun, the music was good and everywhere was packed (really expensive tho!!)

From there, at about 2 we all walked up onto Oxford Rd to the Casino, where we all had to sign up and get photos taken! It all seemed a bit strict for a casino, and was a little dodgy because only one of us was 18 and the rest of us all had to use other IDs. When they asked if we had been before we all said no, but it turned out Niall's Older Brother had been, and my guy was a member in Nottingham but we blagged our way in and it was all alright. We got given loyalty swipe cards and went in.
I made £20 off £1 on the slot machines, so was really happy because I'm not going to go there again until I'm 18 really. Another friend made £70 on the roulette, and then poor Pop lost £70 so he's not going to be out until payday! I stayed away from the Roulette because its sheer luck, and theres too much risk in it for my liking.

Anyway, we left the casino and got home for about 4, i slept in the car with a sleeping bag and pillow which was alright and drove home this morning.
