This new car is brilliant. A couple of months ago my dad bought an MG which i posted about here, and ever since then we have had 3 cars. One, my dads old VW Passat estate was banished to the side drive and although he refused to sell it it stayed on the side drive unused for several months.. but then i passed.

I was insured on this car, but hadn't driven it for 5 months because on one of my first times out in it, when i had just started driving I crashed it into another car, and although the only damage to us was a snapped numberplate which took the full force of the impact, the car I hit had one side ruined and needed 2 doors and wheel arches replaced, so i didn't drive it after that.

After passing my mum took me out in it and I was fine, and as the car is MOT'd, serviced, and I'm insured on it for 12 months it is now mine!! Its basically a free car, which i cannot complain about. So far I have driven into college, dropping my sister off and picking up a mate in the process, and then yesterday was a real landmark day for my driving.
Me and Dad went to M&S on the other side of town, and i took my first trip on the motorway, which was fine even though i was a bit nervous before. I then drove to Sale to a mates house, and then on to the Trafford Center so had to go on the motorway again, twice. We stayed there for a while got some food, a jacket, and an I-trip for the car and then left. We then drove to the pub in Hale Barns (Dont worry i drank cokes) and then from there, back to Sale, dropped a couple of friends off, and then on through Stretford to Chorlton for a famous Chinese takeaway which turned out quite nice. We dropped my friend back off in Sale, and then i stayed at a friend's in Timperley. It was a top night, driving round with no traffic, exploring places we'd never normally go (Chorlton) and having Tim Westwood on the radio making us feel like gangsters! I am absolutely loving this new freedom!

This is what I'm driving! (Not my actual one)
