So i have a piece of philosophy coursework in for tomorrow. Its all about abortion (a disgusting un-natural process) sanctity of life, and philosopher's attitudes to it all.
The first time i handed it in about 2 and half months ago, teacher gave it me back a week later and i was one of two people who had just about scraped an A on it. I was well chuffed so whilst everyone else was working hard to get up from the C they got i.. chilled basically which was good.
The second draft last month i handed it in again with a few minor changes again, but this time it was marked by the Head Of RE who didn't slaughter it completely but changed a lot, much more than my own teacher. He crossed out nearly a page of stuff on how abortions actually take place, was a lot more critical so i had loads of stuff to do. To be honest it was a lot less than many other people, but the comments he made he sounded angry and actually annoyed at me for what i was putting which was mildly amusing.
So i have made the changes he put, and now the final thing is in for tomorrow. I printed off my final piece and gave it to my dad to read (~as recommended by teacher who says give it someone who isn't an expert on the field and see how much they learn) and went upstairs. I come back down and he has basically nit-picked the whole essay and given me an shitload of stuff to do which is completely unnecessary, its absolutely ridiculous the extent he's gone to to get me more stuff to do.
With coursework, why do people wait until the final deadline to give you the most editing to do to it? Why can't one person just do it all in one go and then you can be done with the whole coursework and it won't be stressing you out like it has done with me for the last few months. If i dont get the A i was marked after the first draft i will be seriously annoyed at the first teacher!
