So since i last posted everyone who i work with at the Debenhams cafe has had their hours reduced. I blame the credit crunch. Its the beginning of the end as far as many are concerned, first its hours reduction, next redundancy. Many people have kicked off saying its not worth them coming in now as they will be earning so much less (made worse by staff no longer getting free parking at the mall!, but to be honest its not so bad for me. I have extra time to do extra work for my summer A-levels, and yes i will miss the extra £50 a month or however much it is, but it could have turned out a lot worse.
I had to wait on at a college sports dinner to raise money for my South American rugby tour, it went well, apart from one of my teachers trying to get out of paying £40 for wine he owed.. oh well, he paid at the end and because we had handed in the money already it was an extra £40 to be split for tips!
I also had my yellowfever jab for the same mentioned rugby tour, i still have to get hepatitis ones.. oh well. I'm not a bad person when it comes to injections, its hardly a very traumatic thing having a needle with a tiny end stuck in your arm compared to other things that happen every day, for example blisters on the soles of your feet i'm getting from my football boots at the moment.. absolute agony!
I watched Cloverfield (Really good!) and Outlaw over the weekend. Outlaw is without a doubt up there with Help! by the Beatles as one of the worst films i've ever seen. With Sean Bean, Bob Hoskins and Danny Dyer all actors i've heard of i really didn't expect it to be so bad. Basically a load of tragic people are brought together to get revenge as a gang of outlaws led by Sean Bean, everything about the film is cheap.. props, camera work.. its shoddy. Supporting actors are awful, and the ending is poor. I hated it.
Apart from that all i've been doing was working for a history course essay i had today which went well, but then i found out there was a word limit so i have been pooing myself just a little bit ever since this morning.
Oh well.
