I do alright for myself, so alright that i am nearly 17 and before today hadnt needed/got a job. Today was the day that changed.

I am by no way lazy. I just live way out from where i go to school/socialise and spend most of my time. In contrast, i dont go out around my house.. so while all my mates have been getting jobs near to their homes i have never known where to begin. I did want a job, but didnt know where to go for one.

But my dad spotted they were hiring at Debenhams in town today so i went in and handed in my Application and got an interview.. on the spot!
£4.75 p/hr which isnt as much as some friends earn but its still a wage and i think there's an instore discount involved aswell which will be good for christmas because Debenhams sells practically everything.
My induction with all the other new people is on Thursday and then if that goes well i have a temporary christmas position which could lead to something more! Brilliant!

This is the only positive, worthwhile thing to come from this halfterm. I havent been able to do anything else other than celebrate my Grandma's birthday and go out to watch us lose in the world cup final because of this dirty cough and chest infection i've had. Shame.

But yeah... job = me very happy!

And yes that is also the title of a brilliant Radiohead song. That was deliberate, as i've got the new Radiohead album last week and its brilliant. So brilliant that i've only listened to it fully two or three times?? I dont get it either.

I'll keep this brief. I havent been on here enough. Ive been busy doing other things and it seems i've lost my rythm and motivation for upkeeping a regular blog. I guess there just isnt enough about me thats interesting enough for me to write at the moment, thats no-ones fault. (especially not my own!!)

So until further notice, i'll leave it.
This wont all be forgotten though.. it'll stay at the back of my mind because im quite obsessive like that, just not obsessive enough to start it again, filling it with boring rubbish.

So in the words of terminator "I'll be back"

I did write that, just minutes ago, but i've had two friend requests in recent weeks whilst i've been off the blogosphere so i'll give it a go.

I couldnt just accept them and then leave without even giving them a chance could i??!!
That would just be rude!

Schools going well, rugbys going great (especially tonight!)
Heroes is on tonight, im going out quite a bit aswell!!

The only thing thats letting me down a bit is money. I have rinsed my bank account (savings) of about £300 since the start of summer so am refusing to take any more out. But to boost the funds again i've applied for a job and if they dont let me know before this weekend (which they should do, theyll ring tomorrow they said) i have some other work lined up 9-5 saturday and Sunday at the place where i did work experience.. £80 for the weekend!!

Ian Brown on saturday night, my mum and dad might not be going anymore so i may have more tickets for mates which would be pretty welcome.
