Since my last post its been really REALLY eventful.
I went to a gig on Tuesday night at Academy 3 with a friend, "Does It Offend You, Yeah?" awful name for a band, but they were amazing.. really a huge surprise.
I knew nothing about them, but went with my friend because he wanted to go, because he thought it'd be a crazy gig. It was full of people about 16 or younger.. i got told off by a 14 y.o. for not going crazy for the support band.. it was the most surreal experience ever.
But yeah, i'd heard nothing by them but i was right at the front going crazy with the rest of them. We went to the afterparty next door, although it wasnt really much of a party.. haha. And i spoke to the support bands who were also both amazing.. We Smoke Fags and Auto
All the bands had a techo feel to them.. i really need to get to more gigs like that. It was crazy.
This whole last week has been crazy. My social life is wicked and i have a good balance and am keeping up with school aswell so im quite pleased. BUT over three recent nights out i have spent £80. Thats £80 in about 5 days. It cant go on. Thats why i've started job hunting. I've applied to a hotel down the road from me, and WHSmith, Debenhams and Build A Bear Workshop in Warrington.. hopefully one of them will turn out good. Hopefully Debenhams or the hotel!
Back to music.. i've downloaded We smoke fags and El Policia who are a band from a rival school who sound like the strokes and are amazing. They're as good as Cajun Dance Party were when they were that old in my opinion.
Today my dad's letter finally came through saying his request for early retirement on the grounds of sickness has been accepted. Im really happy for him as he did try to get back to work, but he couldnt. He deserves his retirement.. and i will enjoy having him around more now. The money he'll get is enough aswell.
Im donating loads of clothes that dont fit to Asylum seekers in Liverpool through school so went clothe shopping tonight with my mum and got some wicked stuff.
In other news, im getting a new phone because i smashed the screen in Knutsford at the weekend,and i have a strained tricep so am not playing rugby this weekend.
Life is pretty jampacked at the moment!
