It started badly, we lost at rugby to MGS, the first time the 2nd XV had lost in 2 years. We just didnt turn up at all, i got on for longer than last week though which was good. That was the only positive to take out of it though for me really. Shocking game.
Out in the Knutsford area from then on.. trains buses taxis.. seriously expensive. Cant wait to drive!
This party we went to was in Taberly? It was incredible, an 18th, so £300 worth of booze provided, food, and music. We knew basically no-one there which was good in a way because no-one cared what anyone thought! But also bad because some people were gimps. I dont understand why you'd give someone a hard time, and be a a knob to someone you dont even know. Whats there to gain?
I didnt know the guy who's party it was but was talking to him at the end and he seemed like like a fine chap..
Next day i went to the pub on my own to watch city. Was feeling rough so it was just cokes, got talking to some old guys who'd been watching Gaelic football but had to change for city. They were united fans. Was great to see their faces when we won and went back above them in the league. Michael Johnson is becoming a hero, saw him in Manchester the other week.. my claim to fame!
I also saw him before he made his debut in the trafford center in ZaraMan but i dont really like going up to famous people.. they're not that interesting afterall! Only human!
That night i went out to a private party at a venue, knew a lot more people at this one.. but never really spoken to the hostesses. I got in on Ni's plus 5 and was a good night in the end.
I dont understand why if you're hung over, drinking makes you feel better. If anyone could explain that.. haha
Was a great weekend for me, made up for last one.
A lesson learnt for this weekend is to have a bit of arrogance and go on a hunch. Putting yourself out there and turning up to these sort of events has never ended badly.. putting yourself out there in general is good.. helps confidence and makes things happen. Brilliant.
