It wasnt too bad at all. I wasnt nervous at all, there wasnt really any reason to be, I've been at the school for more than 5 years now so everyone is a familiar face. There are two new people to our year, one i already knew who came out with us on Monday night, and one completely new. The completely new guy shares the name of the famous Beatle, George Harrison, which gained him a bit of respect as soon as the register was read out. He seemed ok, a bit quiet but thats to be expected really.
Forms are alphabetically, I'm in Lower 6th 2, with a few of my friends. Not many, but enough. I'm already familiar with my form teacher from rugby for school, and there's a bit of mutual respect there which is good, i think he likes me, which will help because i've got him for Economics aswell.
My options this year are Economics, History, Philosophy and Politics. I had all of them today apart from Economics, and they were all really good and interesting. The lessons are different from last year, in that they seem to be much more chilled out.. everyone listens, and they appear to pass quicker. Maybe people's attention will wain in the future but i kind of hope it doesnt because today was a bit soothing for me! Hahah!

I had my first rugby training session in about 5 months, which was good. We were all pretty unfit so everyone got really put through their paces and i feel really well worked from it. Im planning on really trying for the rugby this year, and will hopefully be a regular on the 2nd XV. Our first match is on Saturday, but hopefully there'll be a couple more training sessions before it. The match is against Merchant Taylors from Liverpool, and there's going to be a minute's silence for their head coach who drowned in a white water rafting accident on their tour to Australia over summer. At another school from Macclesfield a boy was killed in Argentina when he got hit by a car. We're going to South America on tour ourselves in summer.. hopefully none of that happens to us..

Tonight i've already bought two books off Amazon, they were recommended to us by our History teacher for some background reading, which is something he said we really needed to do if we wanted to get As. Normally i wouldnt bother, but i want to do well to make up for getting less than predicted in my GCSEs, and sivakumar123 advised me to read a good book anyway so it all kind of fits.

Over the last couple of days i had one last night out before going back to school, and have pimped out my Ipod with about 200 new songs! Nice!
