I haven't had the best of times. I became ill on around Wednesday, with just a sore throat so i soldiered on, but by friday it had turned worse, into a full on fever!
Sweating, disgusting coughs, headaches, i felt awful.
So the weekend was spent on the sofa, playing grand theft auto or watching sports, i just had to wait it out.
I am now a fan of wheelchair tennis, that was great to watch, and the tour de france leg to Canterbury was brilliant aswell. Fantastic ending, the guy (i forget his name) did so well to recover and come first after his crash and being so far behind. I also had no idea that cycling was such a team sport, there were the team doing all the work for 190km of the race, allowing their sprinter to slipstream for the whole thing. They would protect him from doing anything. He would then sprint off in the last 300m or so, and do his best to win the race. It was very complex, i thought it was just a slog for everyone and the best man wins.
They were travelling oh so quickly too, at 30mph in places! Normally if me and my dad go out we're at around 12mph, and thats tiring enough!!
The crowds were fantastic, and i now think that the Olympics will be a huge success in London too.
I watched Cabin Fever last night, which, for a horror film was very good. Entertaining anyway.
I am starting to do some weights and go to the gym and etc. hopefully as i have a wedding in Scotland next week, which im looking forward to very much.
I also found this on the internet, brilliant band, brilliant song.
BRILLIANT CLOWN COSTUMES!
